Warren E. Hill, MD, FACS Mesa, AZ
Dr. Hill graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson and completed his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Rochester in New York. An expert in calculating accurate IOL power, Dr. Hill has lectured extensively on this subject and serves as a consultant to industry in the field of intraocular lens mathematics and design. He has also published and presented numerous clinical papers on cataract surgery and IOL power calculations in major journals, academic institutions and congresses around the world.
A member of the International Intra-Ocular Implant Club since 2004, Dr. Hill also serves on the board of directors of the American Board of Eye Surgery and is the Subspecialty Editor of the Cataract and Anterior Segment section of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Ophthalmic News and Education (ONE) Network. He is also the recipient of several distinguished awards including the American Academy of Ophthalmology's 2007 Achievement Award, the Distinguished Service Gold Medal in Ophthalmology of the International Academy for Advances in Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology's 2009 Secretariat Award. And while not busy with his patients, Dr. Hill enjoys flying military airplanes.
